Tourist visas are currently issued via a visa run only: the application can be filed while the applicant is outside the country.

Process and timeline

1. You fly out of the UAE or are already outside the country.
2. We file the tourist visa application. Processing usually takes 2–6 hours, occasionally up to 2 days; the visa is typically issued the next working day.
3. Once the visa is issued, you can fly into the UAE.
