UAE Work Visa and Staff Employment

We will register your company with the Ministry of Labor according to all regulations, issue visas for your employees, and set up a payroll system.

Documents, Timelines, Cost

Documents: Company License (Trade License), Memorandum of Association (MOA), Establishment Card, original Emirates ID of shareholders or managing director, E-sign card, scanned passport of the employee, digital passport-size photo, certified diploma (optional).

Timelines: 14 days – full employment procedure

Costs: Employing 1 employee and issuing a visa for them will cost approximately 6,000-7,500 AED (our company’s services are included in this amount), so in each case, we provide an individual commercial offer). The additional issuance of a Work Permit will cost 2,800 AED – such a permit is required for an employee who already has a visa in the UAE.

Now let’s take a closer look at the process:

1. Gathering Documents

To initiate the employment process, it’s important to check if you have the Company License, MOA, and Establishment Card (based on these documents, the company can issue visas). If there is no Establishment Card, no worries; issuing this document will cost 800 AED (government fee) and will take just a couple of days.

2. Registration at the Ministry of Labour

The first step is to register the company at the Labour Department. For this, an E-sign card is required. To obtain it, the company’s owner or general manager will need to visit the government office accompanied by us. The cost of the E-sign card is 900 AED (government fee).

3. Staff Employment

To hire an employee in your company, we will need the original E-sign card and the original Emirates ID of the shareholder or general director (for your convenience, a duplicate copy can be issued that you can leave with us, it will cost 386 AED).

The employee will be required to provide us with a scanned copy of the passport, a digital passport-size photo, and a certified copy of the education diploma (not mandatory).

We submit an application for a visa, and within 3-5 days, the employee receives an entry permit – it is a preliminary visa. If the person is already inside the UAE, we change their status from tourist to resident.

Next step, we arrange for them to visit the medical and biometrics centre. After this, they officially become a resident.

Within 3-7 days, we receive the physical copy of the Emirates ID card for the employee. With this document, they can apply to open a personal bank account.

A week after receiving the Emirates ID, we receive the labour card for the employee. This document is needed for the official payment of salaries through the WPS system.

That is it! Well Done!
